Our Core Services

Day Care & Respite

Support for adults with long‑term conditions, dementia or Alzheimer’s in centres across Birmingham.

We offer:

  • Safe, friendly day care (Mon–Fri)
  • Stimulating activities & social connection
  • Healthy meals
  • Caring, trained staff
  • Free taster sessions
  • Personal care
  • Carer Rest ’N’ Refresh respite sessions up to 2.5 hours per day

Support for Carers

Delivered in partnership with Forward Carers.

Birmingham Carers Hub

Free citywide support including:

  • Carers Assessments
  • Information & guidance (benefits, social care, equipment)
  • Local mini‑hubs
  • Support groups & events
  • Dementia Carers Hub & Dementia Café

Sandwell Carers Hub

  • Wellbeing checks & action plans
  • Peer support groups
  • Emergency care planning

Information & Advice

Free community support including:

  • Benefits checks
  • Blue Badge & bus pass applications
  • Wellbeing assessments
  • Local activities & services guidance
  • Weekly drop‑in sessions

Specialist Support Services

  • Falls Prevention
  • Energy Advice
  • Later Life Planning – wills, LPAs, probate & more
  • Stairlift demonstrations and referrals
  • Careline personal alarms
  • End‑of‑Life support

Community, Social & Wellbeing

Volunteering

Roles include befriending, café/shop support and friendship groups.

Friends First Project

Friendship groups for adults 50+, reducing isolation citywide.

Neighbourhood Network Schemes

Leading the Sutton Coldfield NNS helping adults stay active, connected and independent.

Digital Inclusion Support

One‑to‑one or group support to build confidence using digital devices safely.

  • Community Allotment – wellbeing and shared produce
  • Moorfield Hall (Shard End) – community centre & day care
  • Hawkesley Community Centre (Kings Norton) – 7‑day community hub

Home Support (Jubilee Citizens UK)

CQC‑registered service offering:

  • Domestic support
  • Companionship
  • Escorting to appointments

  • Personal care
  • Specialist condition support
