Finding hope again

I was dealing with loss, grief, health problems and stress, and I had started to lose hope. I felt trapped, misunderstood and exhausted, and I needed someone who would listen without judgement.

The support gave me that space. It helped me speak openly, feel heard, and begin to regain some control over my life.

I’m no longer crying all the time, I’m sleeping better, and I feel more hopeful, grateful and interested in life again. I want to keep working on myself and continue getting the bereavement support I need. I genuinely do not think I would be here writing this if I had not had the opportunity to talk to someone during such a difficult time.

Being listened to empathetically made a huge difference to me.
